Joining Ahlbeck and Company full-time in 1988, Amy has developed specialization in construction accounting, estate services and resolution of complex tax issues. She has performed and oversees audits, reviews and compilations for a variety of for-profit entities. Trust and estate engagements are a strong focus, particularly those of greater complexity. Her diverse tax experience includes review of individual, corporate, partnership, estate and trust returns, year-end planning, research of unique tax issues and assistance with state/federal examinations. Amy often acts as a liaison in dealing with legal and other professionals, providing client support and assistance. She is also involved in ongoing development of internal reporting forms as well as in-house tax training.
Amy graduated with a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Illinois-Chicago and is a member of the Illinois CPA Society. Over the years she has been involved as both a member and officer of several local not-for-profit organizations.
