Experience
Bruce has worked in public accounting for nearly ten years, joining Ahlbeck
& Company in 2000. He oversees audits, reviews and compilations for
a variety of clients, particularly manufacturers and distributors. In
addition, Bruce has significant experience with employee benefit plans,
including performing audits and addressing compliance and reporting issues
under ERISA, DOL and IRS requirements.
His tax background allows him to resolve complex issues and concerns for corporations and individuals as well as estates and trusts. Bruce is also involved in resolutions of in-house computer system and software issues, ongoing development of tax processing systems and directs the firm's tax practice committee .
Bruce earned his B.S. in Accountancy from Northern Illinois University, followed by a Master of Science in Taxation degree. He is also a member of the Illinois CPA Society.
