Prior to joining the firm in September 2009, Courtney worked as an auditor at one of the Big Four public accounting firms. With experience in performing audits and reviews for various federal entities and publicly-traded companies, she understands the engagement process from addressing internal control risk to analysis of financial data and presentation of final financial reports. Courtney is also involved in preparation of corporate and individual tax returns for a variety of clients.

Courtney earned her undergraduate degree in Accountancy from Northern Illinois University, graduating magna cum laude, followed by a Master of Science in Accountancy degree. She is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society.
