Experience

With over 30 years of public accounting experience, Jim started out at a national public accounting firm. After serving in the US Marine Corps, he was a controller in private industry. He began his own local certified public accounting practice, James P. Karol CPA, in 1982 prior to merging with Ahlbeck & Company in May 2008.

Jim specializes in individuals, trusts and small businesses, addressing tax as well as accounting needs. He serves clients in a wide range of industries, from consulting to warehousing and distribution. With a focus on compilation and bookkeeping engagements, Jim's broad experience and expertise also enables him to provide tax compliance and reporting services. He is committed to personal service in assisting his clients with their tax and accounting needs.
