Experience

With over 20 years experience in public accounting and private industry, Julie joined Ahlbeck & Company in January 2009. She most recently worked for a national public accounting firm as an audit director in their entrepreneurial services group. Her private sector experience includes a home health care company and a real estate firm for which she served as assistant controller

Julie serves a broad client base with an emphasis on contractors, manufacturers and employee benefit plans. Her experience with employee benefit plans includes audits as well as Form 5500 filings. She also manages a variety of compilation, review and audit engagements. Julie has also prepared and reviewed tax returns for individuals, corporations and partnerships as well as information filings for not-for-profits. In addition, she played an integral role in a computer conversion project and is involved with in-house training and education.
